Enhanced weathering is a natural carbon capture process in which silicate minerals react with atmospheric CO₂ and moisture to form stable carbonate minerals, locking carbon away for geological timescales.

ICELITH aims to industrialize and accelerate this process by engineering synthetic calcium–silicate minerals with controlled composition, surface area, and reactivity. By optimizing these properties, ICELITH™ can significantly increase the rate of CO₂ uptake compared with natural rock weathering, enabling measurable and verifiable carbon sequestration.
